Dojo:  From the traditional Japanese arts meaning the "place of training." 
The dojo is a place where we come together as a community to align with our purpose, develop the self, and learn to become who we need to be.

Everyone surely knows that the world we now inhabit is transforming itself in historic and dramatic ways. Many see these changes as challenging and stressful times and yearn for the simpler days when change evolved more slowly and predictably. We can choose to retreat and wait for better times to return, or we can choose to see an opportunity to grow and learn about ourselves, about the important gifts we each bring to the world, and what we are currently being called upon to do with our gifts.

I see life as a wondrous creative act of the imagination. A joyful process where we are continuously becoming who we repetitively and intentionally choose to be. I see a fulfilling life as being created by continually learning, practicing, and becoming who we really are. I see it accomplished by following our own unique path, a path we create ourselves with each step we take, and change and unpredictability are embraced.

My vision for The Learning Dojo is much like that of a martial arts dojo where we come together as a community and each member is dedicated to the ongoing practice of learning and teaching each other; of trusting we will all find guidance in the ongoing practice of finding our way both individually and collectively on our own journey's path.

With our lives busier than ever before, it is even harder to find ways to learn what we need to evolve and adapt to in the new emerging world.  The Learning Dojo is a haven, a community supporting meaningful practice where you are the master of the process, pace, and the content of your own learning.  A place where you can come and be supported in person, on-line, or by phone no matter when, where, or what you might need to learn.
